ABOUT US
Our story
The NextG SAV PDX is a growing community joining together to support the next generation of Black business leaders in Portland, Oregon, and Savannah, Georgia.
Our mentorship programs support young men who have started a business and need coaching or who have a business idea and need support getting started. We also work with teens who show an interest in or aptitude for entrepreneurship.
After completing The NextG SAV PDX’s mentorship program, participants come away with an understanding of how to start and run a business, connections to experts and peers who provide continued support, and practical tools like a business plan and practice pitching their ideas to family members and funders.

mission
To unite a collective of entrepreneurs and community leaders dedicated to empowering the forthcoming wave of Black business pioneers. Through our mentorship initiatives, we aim to guide young Black men in navigating the obstacles frequently encountered in their paths, including educational barriers, financial hurdles, and the allure of gang involvement and street life
